Giselle

Production generously underwritten by Lynn Wyatt
In this story of a peasant girl deceived by an aristocrat disguised as a commoner, the emotions of love, betrayal and redemption play out in stunning simplicity. With exquisite sets and costumes, Stanton Welch’s Giselle is one of the most beautiful ever produced.

Forged in Houston

Continuing its tradition of supporting the world’s most respected choreographers, this uplifting program features Jorma Elo’s ONE|end|ONE, Christopher Bruce’s Hush, and a world premiere by Trey McIntyre, who has created more than 100 ballets, many on Houston Ballet dancers.

From Houston to the World

Mark Morris created The Letter V on Houston Ballet to audience and critical acclaim. Aszure Barton’s Angular Momentum was influenced by the city’s architecture and set to a score about the moon landing. Arthur Pita makes his Houston debut with a world premiere created on Company dancers.

Romeo & Juliet

Production generously underwritten by Melza & Ted Barr Stanton Welch’s Romeo & Juliet made its world premiere at Houston Ballet in 2015 and has since traveled as far as Australia. The breathtaking production is a brilliantly imagined interpretation of the world’s most famous love story.
