Wardrobe Administrative Coordinator
Reporting to Head of Costumes, the Wardrobe Administrative Coordinator executes the administrative needs for the Wardrobe Department. This position collaborates closely with the Head of Costumes and the Production Coordinator to complete financial tasks, new show builds, industry research, and other departmental duties.
Public Relations Intern
The Spring PR Intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of Houston Ballet’s Marketing & PR department. The intern will work under the direct supervision of the PR Manager and every effort is made to assist the intern in building strong professional skills. All internships are unpaid and offer flexible hours to accommodate school or work schedules for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Education Marketing & PR Coordinator
The Education Marketing & PR Coordinator works directly with the Marketing & Public Relations team in serving the needs of Houston Ballet Academy and Houston Ballet.
The Production Assistant is responsible for providing proactive support to the Houston Ballet Academy for all of their studio, A/V, rehearsal, and performance needs. This position is the Stage Manager for all Academy productions at home or on tour as assigned. The Production Assistant also serves as the technician for the Margaret Alkek Williams Dance Lab, which entails maintaining the space as well as running programs and events.
Individual Giving Coordinator
Individual Giving Coordinator is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding support on behalf of Houston Ballet. This position coordinates key fundraising vehicles, including direct mail and online giving. Additionally, this position will have a portfolio of current and prospective donors, with the expectation of strengthening relationships on behalf of the Ballet.
Customer Service Representative
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering general Marketplace information to callers. The CSRs use basic office equipment and technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers to perform their duties. The CSRs assume ticket order responsibility and processing of payments during performances and throughout the work week.
Academy Ballet Mistress
This position assists in the supervision and training of HBII students.
Assistant Technical Director
The Assistant Technical Director, under the supervision of the Technical Director, will provide support for the Production Department including, but not limited to: drafting, coordinating bids, rentals and logistics, and assisting with the paperwork, planning, implementation and archiving of all company productions. The ATD will serve as the primary technical representative and Lighting Designer for all Academy productions and tours.
BOYS PROGRAM COORDINATOR
This position provides teaching for lower, middle and upper school classes and will be the Coordinator of the boys in Pre Professional and Professional (not including HBII) Programs.
