WORTHAM THEATER CENTER DIRECTIONS

From I-10 West traveling East: Take the Smith exit and veer right on Smith. Turn right on Prairie. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Smith and Prairie.

From I-10 East traveling west: Take I-10 West, exit 769B San Jacinto St./Main St. Take a slight right at Shea, then left on Main. Turn right on Congress, then left on Smith. Turn right on Prairie.  The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Smith and Prairie.

From I-45 North traveling south: Exit McKinney (left exit). Turn left on Bagby. Turn right on Texas. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Bagby and Texas.

From I-45 South traveling north: Exit Houston Ave./ Memorial Dr. Turn right on Rusk, then left on Bagby.  Turn right on Texas. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Bagby and Texas.

From US-59 North traveling south: continue past the Convention Center. Take I-45 North/ Dallas exit. Exit Houston Ave./Memorial Dr. Exit Houston Ave./Memorial Dr. Turn right on Rusk, then left on Bagby.  Turn right on Texas. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Bagby and Texas.

From US-59 South traveling north: Take I-45 North. Exit Houston Ave./ Memorial Dr. Turn right on Rusk, then left on Bagby.  Turn right on Texas. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Bagby and Texas.

From Highway 290: Take 610 South to I-10 East. Travel east. Take the Smith exit and veer right on Smith. Turn right on Prairie.  The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Smith and Prairie.

From Highway 225: Take 610 West to I-45 North. Exit Houston Ave./ Memorial Dr. Turn right on Rusk, then left on Bagby. Turn right on Texas. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Bagby and Texas.

From Memorial: Memorial Drive becomes Texas St. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Bagby and Texas.

From Allen Parkway: Stay on Allen Parkway until you pass I-45. Turn left on Bagby. Turn right on Texas. The Wortham Theater Center will be on your left at the corner of Bagby and Texas.

   The elevator in the garage is on aisle I. Trams will also be available to shuttle those customers who need assistance. Customers should notify a garage attendant upon arrival if they need this service.

2. LYRIC CENTRE GARAGE

3. ALLEY THEATRE

   Alley Theatre Garage: Enter on Louisiana and Smith, between Texas and Prairie. This above-ground parking tower is located on the same block as the Alley Theatre, with the elevator across the AlleyWay from the Alley Theatre building. Garage open for entrance, Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 10:00 pm, and Saturday & Sunday, 10 am – 10 pm; credit cards accepted. Please note that you may exit the garage after 10:00 pm. 

   The cost for parking during events is $12 per car at the Alley Theatre Garage and $12 per car at the Theatre District Parking Garage. Cost is subject to change.

Accessible seating is available in both the Brown and Cullen theaters. The Brown Theater has accessible seating located on the Orchestra, Founder's Box, and Grand Tier levels. In the Cullen Theater, accessible seating is available on both the Orchestra and Mezzanine levels. Patron drop-off is available on Prairie Street. FM assistive headsets for the hearing impaired are available in the lobby at no charge for each performance. Please ask an usher for assistance.

Houston Ballet provides audio description services for visually impaired patrons in partnership with team members from Sight into Sound (SIS), a Houston non-profit organization serving the blind and visually-impaired community. Patrons should request narrative services by calling the box office at 713.227.2787 to request an audio describer at least two weeks before their performance. The Ticketing Services Team will contact SIS to schedule an audio describer and confirm if they are available for the original selected performance date and time or discuss an alternate date where the service and the tickets can be honored and accommodated.

In preparation for the performance, team members of SIS attend a performance and read the program in order to use  succinct, vivid, and imaginative language to describe the visual images and movement. SIS team members describe the set design in detail, including the dancer's physical appearance, costumes, and movements. Patrons wear headsets provided to them to listen to the describer as the production takes place. This service is provided free of charge by Houston Ballet.
