Aimee Kilgore (she/her) is a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer currently based in Houston, TX. She grew up in the Houston area training under Sharon Teague and Lauren Anderson and supplemented her classical ballet training at HSPVA, where she graduated as a dance major.  She graduated summa cum laude from the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program in 2021 where she worked with an array of world-renowned choreographers and was introduced to the GYROTONIC®️ and GYROKINESIS®️ expansion systems which broadened and influenced her movement language in a multitude of ways. Throughout college, Aimee had the opportunity to perform around the Bay Area in residencies and as a freelance dancer. In the summer of 2018, she traveled to Tel Aviv to train under Ohad Naharin at Batsheva Dance Company to deepen her knowledge of Gaga. Her choreographic work has been presented at The MATCH in Houston, screened virtually through LINES, and presented at YAGP. Aimee is currently a teaching artist in the Adapted Dance Program at Houston Ballet, where she teaches both offsite in HISD as well as with the Down Syndrome Association of Houston.
