Krume Andreevski is a pianist based in Houston TX. He has performed three times as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic and has won prizes on international music competitions. As a doctoral student at the University of Houston, he appeared frequently in solo and collaborative concerts within the university, as well as in benefit concerts in the Houston area. After his graduation he performs regularly in solo and chamber recitals in Houston. He performed in several U.S. states, and he is also active overseas in his native Macedonia where he played piano recitals and participated in several national music festivals.

 

Dr. Andreevski is a dedicated piano teacher and gives piano and music instruction in Houston since 2008. He has worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Houston; as an adjunct music instructor at Lone Star College (North Harris); and as a music director in a private music school. He currently teaches private piano lessons, works as a pianist for the Houston Ballet Academy, and as an accompanist for the Houston Saengerbund Choir. 

 

He holds piano performance degrees from the University of Houston (doctorate), Lynn University (master’s) and Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (bachelor’s). Among his prizes on international music competitions are: Interfest – Bitola, Macedonia, 2005 – First prize; Ars Flores Concerto Competition, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 2007 - First prize; Chautauqua Music Festival Piano Competition, Chautauqua, NY 2010 – Second Prize; “Rovere d’Oro” San Bartolomeo, Italy, 2000– Third prize; “Vojislav Vuckovic” Belgrade, Serbia 2005 – Second prize.
