Favorite Roles

I can’t pick just one favorite role; there have been too many amazing rehearsal experiences, performing experiences, etc. to have one singular role that stands out. But here are some of my favorites!
Odette/Odile in Julie Kent and Victor Barbee’s staging of Swan Lake
Lilac Fairy in Julie Kent and Victor Barbee’s staging of Sleeping Beauty
Sugar Plum Fairy, Dewdrop in Septime Webre’s The Nutcracker
Silas Farley’s Dowland Dances
Jessica Lang’s Reverence
“I Can Dream, Can’t I” solo in Paul Taylor’s Company B

Favorite Ballet

Any ballet that tells a story or can be interpreted with some sort of concept or storyline throughout.  I love interacting with others onstage, exploring different facets of a character, and playing a part in the larger narrative of a ballet.

A Defining Moment

A defining moment in my career so far was having the chance to perform Odette/Odile.  We were in the early stages of rehearsing Swan Lake when the pandemic shut everything down.  Actually getting to premiere it almost two years later post-pandemic was amazing.  I did my first entrance in Act II, came offstage and started crying.  It was so wonderful and such a relief to actually be there in that moment, performing that part.
