Students ages 12 - 17 have the option of living at the University of St. Thomas (UST) dormitory. Breakfast and dinner are provided daily. The UST dorm is chaperoned 24/7 and students are transported to class in vans and buses.
Students will be in classes Monday-Saturday. Classes typically begin at 9 a.m. and end around 5 p.m. All schedules are subject to change. There are no classes on Sunday and dorm students may attend organized activites for an additional fee per activity. Note: Houston Ballet Academy is unable to provide tickets, chaperoning or transportation to any organized activity for students not living in Houston Ballet provided housing.
Dorm check-in for the 2019 intensive is Saturday, June 15.

Shopping at the Houston Galleria
Take a drive through River Oaks and see the Transco Fountains on the way to one of the best shopping spots in town, (with over 300 stores to choose from) the Houston Galleria!
Enjoy at day of fun in the sun at Splashtown Waterpark. The park offers exciting water rides and a huge wave pool. Students visit on the 4th of July holiday (no classes).
NASA Space Center
Spend the day at the NASA Space Center of Houston! Explore the exhibits and attractions, including the Space Center Theater, a tram tour of NASA's Johnson Space Center, and galleries of astronauts and space items. There is even a simulator of what it's like to live in space!
Take a trip to Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Galveston, Texas. Relax in the lazy river, race down waterslides, and much, much more!
Did you know Houston is only second to New York City in having the most number of theater seats in a concentrated area? It also has 9 performing arts organizations; one of the few cities in America with an in-house Opera, Theater Company and Ballet!
