The following programs are suited for high school students:
*Ballet Talks: Teaching Artists from Houston Ballet are available to give a one hour presentation based on The Nutcracker, Peter Pan, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Romeo and Juliet.
*Behind The Scenes: Ever wondered how a ballet makes it to the stage? Ever wonder how a dancer trains? Look behind the scenes, come see a day in the life at Houston Ballet with Behind the Scenes and Behind the Scenes - Extended.
*Guest Speaking: Representatives from Houston Ballet are available to speak on a variety of topics and for special events at your school.
*Graceful Givings: Each year donated dance attire and costumes are given away to local schools in need.
Student Matinee: Full length performances by Houston Ballet with live orchestra and interactive intermissions. Transportation is NOT provided by Houston Ballet.
*Studio Series: Interactive, educational performances by Houston Ballet II and the pre-professional program at Houston Ballet Center for Dance. Transportation is NOT provided by Houston Ballet.
*Adapted Dance Off-Site: Trained ECE staff partners with Houston-area schools, hospitals, and other organizations to create a program especially for their students.
*Learning from the Masters: A series of dance classes in a variety of disciplines taught by professionals in the filed held at your school.
*Dance to Learn: An arts integration program that approaches core curriculum from a kinesthetic perspective.
*Teacher Workshops: Trained staff will help design movement integration workshops for your school or district.
