Favorite Ballets

Sir Kenneth MacMillan's Mayerling because the music, the choreography and the story take you on a journey like no other ballet I’ve ever experienced.
Stanton Welch’s Divergence because this ballet is a spectacle of impressive and explosive movement, and it’s always inspiring to watch, it makes you want to try every difficult lift and jump that you see.
Crystal Pite’s Body & Soul because this ballet really captivates and takes you on a journey through movement that doesn’t even seem possible.

A Defining Moment

My proudest moment onstage so far in my career has to be performing in Hush by Christopher Bruce. I was a cover for the ballet and due to a dancer being ill I was asked to step in and perform on the day of the performance. The nerves and anxiety I felt were almost overwhelming, but I learned in this moment to trust myself and my abilities as an artist and to just enjoy the performance I was about to give. This lesson is something that sticks with me every time I step onstage and I’m so proud I was able to accomplish a difficult feat in a pressure filled moment.
