HOUSTON BALLET II PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Houston Ballet II members perform a diverse range of dance works such as excerpts from the great classics including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker to contemporary works by Houston Ballet Artistic Director, Stanton Welch AM.
Every Houston Ballet II dancer will be asked to perform a classical variation and a contemporary solo as part of their annual evaluation. This takes place on stage at the Wortham Theater in front of a panel of judges that includes company and Academy artistic staff, as well as company dancers. They receive a score and detailed feedback in their consultation with faculty.
