All Professional Program students are required to earn a high school diploma or GED equivalent through nontraditional academic classes or online schooling.

Houston Ballet Academy does not provide an accredited program for the completion of high school. However, the Student Life Manager and Academic Advisor are available to assist students with finding and completing program that works for them.

Students working towards their high school diploma or GED attend Study Hall two days a week with the Academic Advisor during the Fall and Spring semesters.  The Academic Advisor will assist with schoolwork, proctor student exams, and monitor student progress.

Foreign students may be required to take English as an Additional Language (EAL) class once a week.

Students who complete their high school diploma or GED during their time in the Professional Program will be celebrated with an end-of-year graduation ceremony.
