Ticketing Services Associate

Full-Time

The Ticketing Services Associate will be cross-trained and responsible for supervisory duties of the box office team in support of the Box Office Managers and the Audience Services Manager. They will assist in the daily and business operations of the Box Office as well as the duties and responsibilities assisting with front of house and audience services coordination and operations during performances. 
This position requires evening and weekend work, in sync with the season performance schedule and adaptability to shift between various functions as needed. 

Nutcracker Market Volunteer Coordinator

Part-Time

This position is responsible for leading the recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and communication of volunteers for Nutcracker Market and Nutcracker Market SPRING. Serving as the primary point of contact for volunteers, this role works closely with staff and committee chairs to ensure strong volunteer coverage, a positive and rewarding volunteer experience, and seamless event execution.

This is a part-time, hourly, seasonal position with varying weekly hours based on the event calendar:

  • January–July: 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule

  • August–November: 25 hours per week

Archive Assistant

Part-Time

Houston Ballet, one of the nation's preeminent ballet companies and ballet academies, has a history spanning more than fifty years. The purpose of the Archive Project is to safeguard the legacy of Houston Ballet and implement systems that will streamline the usage, creation, and storage of archival documents across the organization. The primary components of the project are: 1) completion of inventory of the collection and implementation of a long-term project to create a searchable catalog for archival materials; 2) archival-quality digitization of prioritized analog video materials; and 3) improved systems for accessing and preserving archival materials used in the company's daily activities, including creation of manuals, workflows, and protocols.

Development Process Coordinator - Nutcracker Market

FULL-TIME

The Development Process Coordinator – Nutcracker Market is responsible for the accurate processing of Nutcracker Market, Spring Market gifts and Merchant fees, maintenance of constituent records, data entry, and database support activities that contribute to the effective operation of the Development Department. This position performs routine data quality reviews, maintains current and accurate constituent information, and assists with process improvement initiatives. The coordinator works closely with all department staff to ensure donor transactions are recorded accurately and on time, support day-to-day development operations, and provide required attendance and support for Nutcracker Market and Spring Market.

Associate Director of Ticketing Services

Full-Time

The Associate Director of Ticketing Services helps to lead the strategy and systems connecting patrons to Houston Ballet performances, from purchase through attendance. Reporting to the Director of Ticketing Services, this role assists with Tessitura administration for the Marketing Department, pricing support, reporting accuracy, and patron services standards, as well as lead segmentation and patron data analysis to support audience development.

The position works collaboratively to support Development, Artistic Planning, Education & Community Engagement, IT, Finance, and Executive Leadership.

This is full-time, in-person position located in Houston, TX.  This role requires evening and weekend availability to support performances, providing regular opportunities to experience the artistry, energy, and excitement that define Houston Ballet.

Customer Service Representative

Part-time

Join our Customer Service Representative (CSR) team and help deliver excellent customer care to our amazing patrons.  CSRs process single ticket sales and subscription orders over the phone, email, and in person at the theater. CSRs will work performances evenings and weekends distributing will call, walk up sales, and assisting patrons at the window. CSRS will continuously expand product knowledge to ensure accurate information, resolve customer questions, and deliver a high level of service.

Our part-time Customer Service Representative positions pay rate is $15 per hour.

Temporary Office Administrator

Part-time

Houston Ballet is in need of a part-time Office Administrator in our Production Department.  This is a part-time, hourly, temporary position, to last from end of August 2026 until mid November 2026.   Hours are expected to be 4 hours per day, and can be flexible based on the candidates' needs.

This part-time position will fill in for a member of the Production Operations team who will be out on leave.  The Office Administrator will check incoming emails, and assist in the management of all Houston Ballet rentals, provide contractual information to associated union representatives, manage shipping logistics, track and maintain the department budget, and handle general office work.

Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate

Part-Time

We are looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to help in Houston Ballet retail store. In this role, you will greet customers and provide them with product information or suggestions. Your other tasks involve keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with inventory. Since this is our busy season, we serve a high number of customers throughout the day. Employees must follow company policy and uphold brand standards at all times. Seasonal hourly salary starts at $15.00.
