Associate Director of Ticketing Services

The Associate Director of Ticketing Services helps to lead the strategy and systems connecting patrons to Houston Ballet performances, from purchase through attendance. Reporting to the Director of Ticketing Services, this role assists with Tessitura administration for the Marketing Department, pricing support, reporting accuracy, and patron services standards, as well as lead segmentation and patron data analysis to support audience development.

The position works collaboratively to support Development, Artistic Planning, Education & Community Engagement, IT, Finance, and Executive Leadership.

This is full-time, in-person position located in Houston, TX.  This role requires evening and weekend availability to support performances, providing regular opportunities to experience the artistry, energy, and excitement that define Houston Ballet.

Director, Ticketing Services

Creative Marketing & Graphic Design Intern

Part-Time

Houston Ballet's marketing team is hiring a paid intern to help create the visual and digital content that reaches our audiences: social media, print and digital campaigns, video, email, and more. This is a working role, not an observational one. You'll contribute to real projects that go out to the public, with guidance from our in-house creative and marketing staff.  This is a part-time, paid position ($15 per hour) and we are located in downtown Houston, TX.  

We're looking for a recent graduate or graduating senior who has a strong visual sense, works hard, and wants to build a genuine portfolio through meaningful work for a major arts organization.

Customer Service Representative

Part-time

Join our Customer Service Representative (CSR) team and help deliver excellent customer care to our amazing patrons.  CSRs process single ticket sales and subscription orders over the phone, email, and in person at the theater. CSRs will work performances evenings and weekends distributing will call, walk up sales, and assisting patrons at the window. CSRS will continuously expand product knowledge to ensure accurate information, resolve customer questions, and deliver a high level of service.

Our part-time Customer Service Representative positions pay rate is $15 per hour.

Temporary Office Administrator

Part-time

Houston Ballet is in need of a part-time Office Administrator in our Production Department.  This is a part-time, hourly, temporary position, to last from end of August 2026 until mid November 2026.   Hours are expected to be 4 hours per day, and can be flexible based on the candidates' needs.

This part-time position will fill in for a member of the Production Operations team who will be out on leave.  The Office Administrator will check incoming emails, and assist in the management of all Houston Ballet rentals, provide contractual information to associated union representatives, manage shipping logistics, track and maintain the department budget, and handle general office work.

Academy Administrative Coordinator

Full-Time

The Academy Administrative Coordinator assists and supports the Academy department with student data entry and system maintenance, financial tracking and reconciliation, and administrative support. This individual must be well organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment. This individual should have strong interest and experience working in a database and maintaining financial records. Candidates must be available to work on Sunday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm and Monday-Thursday 10:00am-6:00pm

Marketing Manager

Strategize with the Director of Marketing & PR to create strategic marketing plans to optimize the effectiveness of Houston Ballet’s budget and resources to achieve target marketing and revenue benchmarks while expanding Houston Ballet's reach through traditional and digital marketing efforts that bolster brand integrity.  This is an in-person position located in Houston, TX. *This role reports to the Director of Marketing & PR.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and serving as a key member on the development team, the Director of Special Events will oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of a comprehensive calendar of fundraising events, patron cultivation activities, performance-related hospitality, and institutional celebrations. This individual will bring fresh, innovative thinking to enhance Houston Ballet’s event portfolio, ensuring that every experience reflects the artistic excellence, sophistication, and ambition of Houston Ballet.

Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate

We are looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to help in Houston Ballet retail store. In this role, you will greet customers and provide them with product information or suggestions. Your other tasks involve keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with inventory. Since this is our busy season, we serve a high number of customers throughout the day. Employees must follow company policy and uphold brand standards at all times. Seasonal hourly salary starts at $15.00.
