In the Press

"God bless chefs Randy Evans, Chris Shepherd and Monica Pope. They each took their talents to the kitchen of Catalan and joined forces with three of Houston Ballet's talented dancers for a whirl around the pots and pans creating four-course dinners for a clamoring crowd of more than 200."
- CultureMap (March 31, 2011)

"The young professionals supporting Houston Ballet (Ballet Barre) were up-close-and-personal with the pre-professional Houston Ballet II dancers as they worked and sweated under Welch's watchful eye...It was a rare opportunity to witness a rehearsal and to have a follow-up Q&A with Welch."
- CultureMap (April 9, 2010)

"About 120 culture lovers descended on RDG + Bar Annie for the fall kickoff party for Ballet Barre, Young Professionals for Houston Ballet.  The event drew many company dancers, including principals Mireille Hassenboehler and Amy Fote along with new soloist Melissa Hough."
- Houston Chronicle (August 26, 2010)

"More than 120 up-and-coming social stars lit up the scene in what might be one of the better singles mixers in the city (couples welcome). Plenty of Cute Young Things and Handsome Dudes in the throng."
