In July 2003, Australian choreographer Stanton Welch AM assumed leadership of Houston Ballet. Since then, the company has grown to 60 dancers, making it America’s fifth largest classical ballet company. Mr. Welch has revitalized Houston Ballet by raising the level of the company’s classical technique and commissioning new works from the world’s best dance makers. The company has made numerous appearances in the US and internationally including London, Germany, Spain, Montreal, Ottawa, Paris, Australia, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C. Mr. Welch has created works for some of the world’s most prestigious companies such as San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, The Australian Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and The Royal Danish Ballet. He has choreographed more than twenty works for Houston Ballet including the full-length narrative ballet Marie (2009), Romeo and Juliet (2015), Giselle (2016), The Nutcracker (2016) as well as spectacular stagings of Swan Lake (2006), La Bayadère (2010). Under his leadership, the Houston Ballet Academy teaches over one thousand students every year, and approximately 50% of the current company was trained by the Academy. 

Moby is an American musician, DJ, record producer, singer, songwriter, photographer and animal rights activist. He is well known for his electronic music. Moby has sold over 20 million records worldwide. AllMusic considers him "one of the most important dance music figures of the early 1990s, helping bring the music to a mainstream audience both in the UK and in America". 

Moby gained attention in the early 1990s with his electronic dance music work, which experimented in the techno and breakbeat hardcore genres. With his fifth studio album, the electronica and house music-influenced Play, he gained international success. Originally released in mid-1999, the album sold 6,000 copies in its first week, and it re-entered the charts in early 2000 and became an unexpected hit, producing eight singles and selling over 10 million copies worldwide.

Houston native James Templeton is an artist, musician, animator, and man behind the experimental electronic music of LIMB. Alongside LIMB, Mr. Templeton has produced several records with various artists including By The End Of Tonight, Black Kite, Birdmagic and B L A C K I E. Mr. Templeton spoke and performed at a 2013 TEDx with his own custom instrumentation. In 2016, LIMB was the creative lead on the interactive audio-visual installation OCTA at the Day for Night festival. Last spring Mr. Templeton co-created and served as the Technical Director of Red House, an immersive, site-specific theater experience. He is the composer and director of RE (2018), a short dance film featuring two of Houston Ballet's very own. Mr. Templeton is the proud father of Houston based creative production power house, Dinolion, and Margot Templeton, currently 4.
