This package includes a trio of groundbreaking ballets from three of the ballet world’s most renowned storytellers: John Neumeier’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Stanton Welch’s Cinderella and Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Mayerling. This trio is a perfect sampling of story ballet, with a dark tragedy, a Shakespearean comedy and a retelling of classic folk tale fit for modern audiences.
MODERN MASTERS
Join us for all three mixed repertory programs in the 2023-2024 season with our Modern Masters mini package. These triple bills combine long-awaited audience favorites with new works from world-renowned choreographers Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Dwight Rhoden, and Houston Ballet premieres from Stanton Welch and George Balanchine.
DANCE IN THE AFTERNOON
Spend Sunday afternoons at the ballet with this trio of world-class performances. This package has a little bit of everything, with two stunning story ballets, Cinderella and Mayerling, and a mixed repertory production that includes a world premiere ballet from Annabelle Lopez Ochoa.
