Romeo & Juliet - Saturday, March 4 at 7:30 PM
Swan Lake - Saturday, June 17 at 7:30 PM

GOOD VIBRATIONS
Mark Morris’s The Letter V and Stanton Welch’s Red Earth return to the stage along with the world premiere of Good Vibrations by internationally acclaimed choreographer, Arthur Pita. Originally set to debut in the 2019-2020 season, this work is set to a commissioned score by Christopher Austin, with references to The Beach Boy’s legendary song ‘Good Vibrations’.

ROMEO & JULIET
Welch’s production weaves the poignant tale of the star-crossed lovers exquisitely. Paying tribute to the Italian Renaissance with lavish sets and costumes by acclaimed Italian designer Roberta Guidi di Bagno, Welch’s Romeo & Juliet is a brilliantly imagined interpretation of the world’s most famous love story, matching its classic themes with fresh choreography.

SWAN LAKE
Generously underwritten by Margaret Alkek Williams
Welch’s Swan Lake tells the tale of everlasting love between Prince Siegfried and maiden-turned-white-swan Odette and the evil knight Rothbart that tests them through his black-swan enchantress, Odile. Utilizing Tchaikovsky’s full score to aplomb, Welch imbues the main characters with greater psychological complexity in his staging, giving the work a twenty-first-century pace.
