Sylvia

Generously underwritten by Phoebe and Bobby Tudor

Welch’s interpretation of classic Greek mythology comes to life in Sylvia, the intricately woven story of three fierce heroines and the constellation of characters that surround them. Torn between duty and desire, these three love stories come together in story ballet bliss with gorgeous costumes, intricate set design and stunning choreography.

Pretty Things

This triple bill is full of energy and excitement! Jorma Elo’s ONE|end|ONE kicks things off with its quick and unexpected movement, Christopher Bruce’s Hush celebrates life through cheeky, emotional choreography, all leading up to the much-anticipated world premiere of Trey McIntyre’s Pretty Things, set to music by David Bowie.

Madame Butterfly

Stanton Welch’s internationally acclaimed Madame Butterfly reemerges to captivate audiences once more. With a magnificent score by Puccini, arranged by John Lanchbery, Madame Butterfly tells the tragic love story of a beautiful Geisha and a handsome American soldier through the eyes of the US Consul stationed in Nagasaki.
