A native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Lucinda began her dance training at a young age. She attended two summers at the Cecchetti Council of America’s summer intensive, two summers at the Bates Dance Festival, and a summer at the José Limón summer intensive. While in high school, Lucinda trained at the Susquehanna Dance Center and joined the pre-professional dance company, COBALT Dance Company. Lucinda then went on to train at the Alvin Ailey School for two years. Upon returning to Pennsylvania, she joined Rev9 Dance Company and became the rehearsal assistant for COBALT Dance Company. Lucinda was the dance captain of the 2011 production of Cats at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center. She attended the Dance for PD® teacher training in August of 2013 and moved to Houston shortly thereafter. She currently teaches for Connolly Dance Arts in Katy and for Houston Ballet’s Education and Community Engagement program. Lucinda is very excited to share her joy of dance with the Houston area.
