Favorite Ballets

Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet, Mayerling and Manon
During a family gathering when I was four years old, my godmother invited me to watch a DVD with excerpts from classical ballet scenes. When the balcony scene from Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet appeared, I was transfixed and started tearing up. According to family lore, the very next day I asked for ballet lessons. The passionate storytelling of Alessandra Ferri and Wayne Eagling sparked my love for this art form.

A Defining Moment

It was an incredible honor to be invited to perform with inspiring dancers from companies and schools around the world at the 2019 inaugural International Ballet Festival of Costa Rica.
