Dance Source HoustoN
A collaboration between Dance Source Houston and Houston Ballet, the HIVE offers local dancemakers a choreography lab to experiment with material for a work-in-progress by offering time and space at the Center for Dance to explore and experiment with movement. It also gives dancers an opportunity to work with new choreographers and learn about their process. The program gathers a group of up to 25 dancers, through an open call, to participate in the choreography lab.

Apply to be a HIVE resident choreographer!
Selected choreographers will lead a choreography lab open to the dance community. Dancers will sign up to take part in the session and the choreographer will offer participants a glimpse into their process of developing work during the 3 hour workshop.
