Ellie is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas where she began her dance training with Ballet Arkansas and Arkansas Academy of Dance. At the age of fifteen she moved to Philadelphia to study classical ballet at The Rock School for Dance Education under the direction of Stephanie and Bo Spassoff. During her time at The Rock School she competed in the Youth American Grand Prix Ballet Competition making it to the New York Finals with original choreography from Servy Gallardo and coaching from Mariaelena Ruiz.

Upon graduation from The Rock School, Ellie joined the Professional Division Program with the Pacific Northwest Ballet where she trained under Peter Boal, Elaine Bauer, Abbie Siegel, Marjorie Thompson and Marisa Albee. While in Seattle she performed in Pacific Northwest Ballet’s productions of Symphony in C, Coppelia, The Nutcracker and West Side Story Suite, amongst several PNB School productions. She has received additional dance training from Ballet Austin, San Francisco Ballet and The San Francisco Conservatory of Dance as well as had the privilege of taking classes with various guest artists including Violette Verdy, Adam Sklute, Mark Morris and Dwight Rhoden.

Ellie attended Southern Methodist University Meadows School of the Arts on an Artistic Merit scholarship where she trained under Leslie Peck, Jean Paul Comelin, Shelley Berg, Adam Hougland, Joshua Peugh, Danny Buraczeski and Myra Woodruff. She graduated from SMU in the summer of 2014 with a BFA in Dance Performance and is thrilled to be sharing her love of dance with the children of Houston.
