Adapted Dance takes existing Houston Ballet Education and Community Engagement programs and adapts them to populations with specific needs. Aside from our two on-going programs, trained staff can also partner with Houston-area schools to create a program especially for your students. For more info, contact the Director of Education and Community Engagment Jennifer Sommers at jsommers@houstonballet.org.

Adapted Dance Classes/DSAH

Off-Site Adapted Dance Classes

Our trained staff partners with Houston-area schools, hospitals, and other organizations to create a program especially for their students.

Dance for Parkinson's

In partnership with the Houston Area Parkinson's Society, these fun and energizing classes allow students to tap into their creativity and apply some of the ground-breaking approaches that are proving to benefit those with Parkinson's.

Autism-Friendly Performances

Performances by Houston Ballet Academy's Professional Program are modified for audience members with neurological differences.
