MOBY IN MOTION performance preview

Houston Ballet’s Moby in Motion is a supercharged mixed repertory program featuring Stanton Welch’s acclaimed work, Play.  Set to music by DJ/Techno artist Moby from his popular album, Play, this hip ballet examines city life on pointe.  The company will also give the American premiere of Mr. Welch’s hyper-kinetic tutu ballet, Velocity, which will showcase the classical technique of Houston Ballet’s dancers.  Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s neo-classical masterpiece Gloria rounds out the program.
