OF AN ERA
Three talented choreographers. Three exquisite works. Three cheers to neoclassical ballet. Christoper Wheeldon's Carousel is pure romance, a whirling tribute to the Richard Rodgers iconic musical. Spanish choreographer Nacho Durato's first work, Jardí Tancat, is still considered one of his finest. Set to Catalonian folksongs, it is the poignant story of people who work the barren land. Concluding the program is Stanton Welch's Nosotros, a brilliant display of talent in a magical, star lit setting.
