Houston Ballet's Nutcracker Market has become an annual tradition to kick off the holiday season in Houston, Texas.  Each November, shoppers  have the opportunity to purchase numerous one-of-a-kind holiday items and gifts at this four-day shopping extravaganza held at Reliant Center. Each year, Houston Ballet hosts a black-tie gala to raise $500,000 for Houston Ballet Foundation’s mission and its programs. The event, which is held in February in the spectacular grand foyer of Wortham Theater Center, attracts many of the city's elite, and has become one of the most prestigious events of Texas's social season. Houston Ballet is excited about this year's Dancing with the Houston Stars! Our gracious Chairman, Becca Cason Thrash, will be opening up her home for this extraordinary event on Tuesday, May 10, 2011! The centerpiece of the evening will be a fun and lively dance competition that will pair six Bayou City Celebrities with six professional dancers. Each pair will perform a three minute routine. At competition's end as guests cast their vote for the winners, our 2010 champions Phoebe Tudor and Phillip Broomhead return for a special guest performance.
