Ways to SUPPORT Houston Ballet
Individuals may support Houston Ballet and its programs and performances by joining a variety of patron groups focusing on different aspects of the company's mission.
ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN
Donations during this fall and winter campaign support the General Operating Fund of the Ballet, which provides for the day-to-day needs of the Foundation and its Academy. Donors of $100 and up receive the Ballet's quarterly newsletter, Houston Ballet News, while donors of $1,000 or more are listed in Playbill.
These distinguished donors, through their generous financial support, provide a critical base of revenue that directly supports the internationally acclaimed performances for which Houston Ballet is known. Membership for two is $4,000 annually, and includes numerous benefits allowing supporters to become closely affiliated with the company. For more information visit Houston Ballet Ambassadors.
An elite group of supporters of Houston Ballet who contribute $15,000 annually and receive a variety of exceptional benefits, including invitations to exclusive events and the opportunity to observe company rehearsals. For more information visit Houston Ballet President's Circle.
Houston Ballet Ball
This elegant event occurs each winter and is one of Houston Ballet's two major fundraisers. Table levels start at $15,000, and individual tickets are $1,500. For more information visit Ballet Ball.
By sponsoring a ballet production or educational program, corporations gain community visibility and enjoy tickets to a performance of the sponsored ballet along with entertainment privileges in the Masterson Green Room - a great treat for employees or clients. For more information visit Corporate Sponsorship.
Foundations help make possible the many programs, performances, and services of Houston Ballet, such as education and outreach programs, the creation of new dance works, and the preservation of time-honored programs. For more information visit Foundation Support.
Houston Ballet Guild
Our Guild is a group of dynamic volunteers who work and run such critical events as the Nutcracker Market, the Junior Patrons program for children attending performances, and the docents program providing outreach and education to area school children. Companies and individuals make gifts of products and services to help support Houston Ballet's fundraising efforts, marketing initiatives, and administrative work. For more information visit In-Kind Donations.
This program provides a wonderful introduction to the art of ballet for children ages 3 through 13. Junior Patrons may purchase exclusive seating at select matinee performances. Following these performances, Junior Patrons will enjoy a private reception in the Green Room, opportunity to meet and photograph the dancers, and a chance to view the sets and costumes up close. Membership is $60. For more information visit Houston Ballet Junior Patrons.
Many companies match employee contributions to charitable organizations, thus increasing the dollar value of these donations. Please consult your company to find out if it has a matching gift program. For more information visit Matching Gifts.
Each November, more than 300 merchants from across the nation descend on Reliant Center for this renowned holiday shopping "wonderland." This four-day event is the Ballet's largest fundraiser.
