Pre-School Teacher (Part-Time)

Department: Ben Stevenson Academy
Reports to: Academy Director and Principle, Lower School
Status: Part-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly compensation
Work schedule: Saturday mornings 9AM to 10AM and 10AM until 11AM
(with the possibility of other week day work opportunities still to be determined)

Summary: This part-time teaching position requires an energetic and inspiring teacher for the Pre-School Division of Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy for the academic year 2012-2013.
Classes considered are Creative Movement (ages 4-5) and Pre-Ballet (ages 6).

Required Minimum Qualifications: 

Minimum two (2) years teaching experience

Willingness to adapt to Houston Ballet curriculum along with incorporating one’s skill and knowledge

Available to work the schedule as listed above on Saturdays

Attain a satisfactory criminal background check and reference check

*Selected applicants will be required to teach both classes as listed in the summary above as part of the interview process.
