One defining moment...
When I got to perform the role Diamond Man from Jewels with National Ballet of Canada.

Dong Hyun Seo was born in Seoul, Korea. He trained at Canada's National Ballet School from 1995 until his graduation in 2000. He joined The National Ballet of Canada as an apprentice in 2000, became a member of the corps de ballet in 2001 and was promoted to second soloist in 2006.

He has danced the role of Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, and principal roles in Monotones II, and Intermezzo, as well as featured roles in Dominique Dumais' one hundred words for snow and George Balanchine's The Four Temperaments. In The Nutcracker he has danced the role of The Mouse Tsar, the Snow Trio, Chocolate and Coffee. He has danced in the Rubies variation from Jewels, a principal role in the Diamonds variation from Jewels, as well as the 2nd variation of Napoli Excerpts, and the pas de quatre from Giselle.

Mr. Seo has performed in the world premieres of James Kudelka's The Contract (The Pied Piper, 2002), An Italian Straw Hat (2005), and Cinderella (2004) as well as Matjash Mrozewski's Monument (2003). He also danced in the company premiere of Balanchine's Stravinsky Violin Concerto (2004) and Nikolaj Hübbe's restaging of La Sylphide (2005).
Mr. Seo has danced in Musings, Madame Butterfly, Alice, Serenade, Song of the Earth, Symphony in C, Petrouchka, Cruel World, A Delicate Battle, The Four Seasons, Theme and Variations, Onegin, Swan Lake and The Firebird.

In 2005 Mr. Seo danced in the Korea World Ballet Festival, performing a pas de deux from Le Corsair
