KRISTINA HARPER, ARTISTIC COORDINATOR
Ms. Harper began her time with Houston Ballet when she relocated from Nebraska to train with the school at the age of fifteen. She joined the company in 1997 and was promoted to demi-soloist in 2004. She found dancing with Houston Ballet’s highly respected and applauded corps fulfilling and rewarding. Ms. Harper’s fondest memories onstage are those in the midst of the corps de ballet in Swan Lake, Giselle, and Serenade. She danced featured roles in the Nutcracker, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated, and All American. She retired in 2006 after performing with the company for nine years. Ms. Harper is excited to continue working for Houston Ballet in a new capacity and learn the many other aspects that contribute to Houston Ballet’s success. Outside of work, Ms. Harper attends the University of Houston where she is majoring in psychology. |
