One defining moment... I don’t feel I have one moment that stands out in a particular way, but having a mom who shared my passion has made my journey all the more special.
Jacquelyn Long began her ballet training at age six under the direction of her mother Suzanne Lownsbury Long, Janina Michalski Bove and Pat Sorrel. Jacquelyn attended summer programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB), American Ballet Theatre (ABT) and Houston Ballet. She left her home studio, Ballet Virginia International, at age 16 to join Houston Ballet II (HBII), after attending three summer intensives in Houston on scholarship.
