DANCE TO LEARN - HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMMING

Dance to Learn is an arts integration program that approaches core curriculum from a kinesthetic perspective.  Houston Ballet staff will work with classroom teachers to create programs that address TEKS in multiple subject areas.  Programs will range from 1-6 class sessions and will be tailored to address grade level work and the school's/teacher's needs.

In its inaugural year, Dance to Learn programs will be offered for High School,  in Dance and Physical Education.  Possible topics include:

Physical Education - Dance Technique (9th-12th)

Dance - Various Topics and Techniques (Levels I-IV,  9th-12th grades)

Dance and Physical Education - Healthy Habits (9th-12th)
