DANCE TO LEARN - MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMMING

Dance to Learn is an arts integration program that approaches core curriculum from a kinesthetic perspective.  Houston Ballet staff will work with classroom teachers to create programs that address TEKS in multiple subject areas.  Programs will range from 1-6 class sessions and will be tailored to address grade level work and the school's/teacher's needs.

In its inaugural year, Dance to Learn programs are offered for Middle School in Dance, Physical Education and 8th grade Social Studies.  Possible topics include:

Physical Education - Creative Dance

Physical Education - Dance Technique
