For Ages 4 and up
Session One: Behind the Ballet of Romeo & Juliet
June 11-15, 2012
The story of Romeo & Juliet is a tragic yet sweet love story of two Italian teenagers who fall in love in Italy during the Renaissance period. Come experiment with movement, savor the music, and make your own costume and backdrop in this week-long workshop based upon a true Ballet classic!
Both age groups will showcase their hard work in a mini-performance at the close of class on Friday, June 15th. Parents and friends are invited to attend!
*Tuition costs include 2 tickets to Houston Ballet's Romeo & Juliet
Age 4-5: 10am-12pm daily
Ages 6-8: 1-3pm daily
Tuition: $295
*Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
Forms are due to the office by May 16, 2012 (please see below for forms).
Session Two: The Classic Story of The Nutcracker
August 13-17, 2012
Come experience Clara's adventure with the Nutcracker Prince in the Kingdom of Sweets! In this week-long workshop, children will experiment with movement, music, costuming, and storytelling as they relate to Ballet. Students will choreograph their own segments throughout the week. Both age groups will showcase their hard work in a mini-performance at the close of class on Friday, August 17th. Parents and friends are invited to attend!
*Tuition costs include 2 tickets to Houston Ballet's The Nutcracker!
Ages 4-5: 10am-12pm daily
Ages 6-8: 1-3pm daily

2012 Boy's Intensive Workshop
For Ages 7 and up
CALLING ALL BOYS!
Our week-long boy's intensive workshop exposes you to the skills necessary to become a strong male dancer. This workshop, crafted specifically for boys, will highlight the importance of the male role in Ballet and will place an added emphasis on technique, stretching, muscle development, and strength training.
August 13-17, 2012
4-6pm daily
